?Sonnyboo Shorts To Appear Before Theatrical Films At Theater Chains All Acorss North America?
Several Sonnyboo Productions will appear on the big screen before major Hollywood releases across North America. The first short film, entitled "License Exam", will begin showing through Screenvision's extensive network to an estimated 5,000 screens to supplement their pre-show advertising with short form entertainment."I'm very honored to have my movies play on the big screen and to such a large audience", says Peter John Ross, Producer/Director with Sonnyboo Productions. "This is another big step for Sonnyboo Productions and getting the work seen."License Exam and other shorts for Screenvision's big screen opportunity were discovered on the multimedia site Undergroundfilm. Undergroundfilm hosts music videos, short films, screenplays, and music.
Undergroundfilm is a non-profit site that has been providing online entertainment from the beginning of the Dot Com craze of the late 1990's.
Peter John Ross & Sonnyboo movies have been on the site for over five years. License Exam, the first of several Sonnyboo shorts to be played, is a two minute 16mm film where the Department of Motor Vehicles turns surreal for it's last few people in line. It stars George Caleodis, a veteran of the Second City comedy troop, Harley Kaplan, Holly Magnani, and Jon Osbeck. Written & directed by Peter John Ross specifically for Internet distribution, has had over 100,000 downloads since it's online premiere in January 2004.
